This slow cooker recipe is just down right southern comfort food!!!
It makes feeling sick so much better =)
Ingredients:
2-3 chicken breast-thawed
5 cups Chicken Broth (I use 5cups water and 5 bouillion cubes)
generous dash of black pepper
1 1/2 cups scliced carrots (or baby carrots)
3-4 ribs of celery-sliced
Directions:
1.) Spray slow cooker with non stick cooking spray
2.) In Slow Cooker, combine chicken broth, black pepper, carrots, celery, and chicken.
3.) Cook on low 6-8 hours if chicken is thawed
If chicken if frozen, cook on low 10 hours-(I ususally always use this method)
4.) Add Egg Noodles 30-45 minutes before serving
ENJOY!!
