Babymooning in Cozumel!

Matt and I are off.........
On our 5th cruise to sunny Cozumel.

We scored majorly on a 4 day cruise to the Caribbean and we could not be more excited! We knew that we wanted to take a vacation babymoon before baby W is welcomed in late June.
Cruising is our favorite type of trip and its all inclusive with f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s food!
We actually scored this trip for less than $200 per person.
Yep.....told you it was a fabulous deal.
No way could we have gone to the beaches of Florida for a condo and food for this.....NO WAY.

I could only cruise until my 25 week, so we searched and found the cheapest week and in an instant a babymoon was planned...

20 days away!

While we are in Cozumel, we booked a day pass to an all inclusive resort at Nachi Cocum, and will enjoy a three course meal (Bring on the Fresh Pico!!!), Chairs underneath our own palapa, and endless sun and BEAUTIFUL azul waters!.

Wikipedia has this to say about a "Babymoon"

A babymoon is a period of time that parents spend bonding with a recently-born baby.

More recently the term has come to be used to describe a vacation taken by a couple that is expecting a baby in order to allow the couple to enjoy a final trip together before the many sleepless nights that usually accompany a newborn baby. Babymoons usually take place at a resort that offers appropriate services like prenatal massage.

The term babymoon comes from the more traditional term honeymoon, which is a vacation taken by a newlywed couple after their wedding ceremony.

And here is a video about the Top 10 Reasons to take a Babymoon!

So, did you take a "Babymoon"? Or what did you and your spouse do to get ready for your new addition??
