39 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 39 Weeks! Full Term Baby!!!

Size of baby: 7 lbs 15 oz

According to ultrasound last Tues 6/14/11

Total Weight Gain: 40 lbs
I lost a lb since last week

Gender: Baby Boy: Levi Maddox Workman

Movement: Levi is still very active right now, he did slow down a little bit, but he is back up to speed!

Cravings: Juice especially Pomegranate Cranberry

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach, Bending over comfortably =)

What I am Loving:

Matt

He was so good to me the other night when we went to the hospital. I am excited to start this new adventure with him.

Sleep: The new mattresses seem to be helping alot.

Symptoms:
Backache, Hip Pain, and a few contractions

Best moment of the week and weeks past:

Just so thankful that the Lord has blessed Matt and I with baby Levi and our health, and I hope he continues to do so in the next few days and hopefully not weeks =)

What I am looking forward to:

June 28, 2011 (1 week away)

Dr. Appt today, hopefully I have progressed some since Sunday night...fingers crossed.

I think I may have dropped some since last week. I took this weeks picture in the same outfit so I could compare.

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 37 Weeks! Full Term Baby!!!

Size of baby: 6lbs

Total Weight Gain: 40 lbs
didnt gain any last week, which I have read is common. YAY!

Gender: Baby Boy: Levi Maddox Workman

Movement: Levi is still moving around but not as much as usual, he is out of room.

Did any of your babies movements slow down closer to their due date??

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach, Bending over comfortably =)

 

What I am Loving: Being a SAHW until Levi comes, it still feels weird to call myself a mom just yet.
We got his Angel Care Monitors in yesterday!

Now, I am just waiting on his happy heinys cloth diapers.

His 36 week check up went well.

He is approx 6lbs, HB was 154, Head Down.

I had not made any progress on my own to bring on labor, but its still early, especially in 1st time moms.

My bags are packed and ready to go!!

Sleep: The new mattresses seem to be helping alot.

Symptoms:
Backache, Not much else right now.

Hating this 100 degree weather right now.

Just so thankful that the Lord has blessed Matt and I with baby Levi and our health, and I hope he continues to do so in the next few weeks.

What I am looking forward to:

Dr. Appt today, hopefully I have progressed some since last week...fingers crossed.

36 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 36 Weeks! 9 Months!

Size of baby: Crenshaw Melon

Total Weight Gain:  40 lbs
(Lets not talk about it)

Gender: Baby Boy: Levi Maddox Workman

Movement: Levi is a wriggle worm, moving all the time, I can tell that his movements are packing a more vigorous punch. He must be out of room!

Cravings: Sweet Tea with Lemon

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach, Bending over comfortably =)

What I am Loving: My last day of work is TODAY!!!!

We finished up some of the shopping that we still needed to be done for Levi.

Sleep: Can not find a comfortable position AT ALL.

Symptoms: Wedding Rings not fitting, Extreme Tiredness

I had my worst day ever during this pregnancy this past Sunday. My back hurt so terribly bad, and was just so fatigued. Matt and I were in need of some new mattresses, so we finally made the splurge on some. ( Not something I wanted to spend the money on...but hopefully it will make a difference)

They were delivered Sunday night and I woke up Monday feeling 50% better, the other 50 % has to be from pregnancy =)

Matt sleep wonderfully, so I am excited to sleep on my back or stomach in the next few weeks!!!

What I am Loving: My husband, more and more. He is very helpful and takes such great care of me.

Sleep:

Can not find a comfortable position AT ALL.

Wedding Rings not fiiting
Extreme Tiredness
Starting to feel different aches and pains

My mom hosted a baby shower for me last Saturday. Levi got alot of necessities and it was nice to have my friends and family all together.

33 Weeks!

How far along: 33 Weeks!

Size of baby: Pineapple (weighs as much as 4 1/4lbs)

Total Weight Gain: 34 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi moves all day. He has started to keep me up at night a few times, but I dont mind. Some definite body parts are moving across my belly now.

He has had hiccups a couple of times

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach

What I am Loving:

That baby stuff in everywhere at our house....its a bit chaotic right now. Still not sure how to organize everything. It makes me smile!

My wedding rings are not fitting.

Baby Luncheon hosted my coworkers of Matt's, too sweet

Having my first Mother's Day, Matt bought me a sweet card and a flip cam. YAY!

Had a Dr. Appt last Thursday and everything is going well, except that I have gained a little too much last month, oops!

What I am looking forward to:

June 2011 (Not far away)

31 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 31 Weeks!

Size of baby: Weighs as much as 4 naval oranges

Total Weight Gain: 32 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi moves all day. He has started to keep me up at night a few times, but I dont mind.

He had hiccups for the first time the other day. Some definite body parts are moving across my belly now.

Cravings: Sweet Tea with lemon or lime

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach

What I am Loving:

I love to hear Matt talk about how excited he is for Levi to get here.

Clearer Skin....1st time in my life.....seriously!

Sleep:

Can not find a comfortable position AT ALL.

Symptoms:

My wedding rings seem to fit one day and the next day they don't.

Stretch Marks have MADE their MARK on my stomach =) and they are welped up and itch soooooooo bad.

Getting more clothes and things from friends and family.

30 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 30 Weeks! 3/4th of the way completed!!

Size of baby: Cabbage 3lbs

Total Weight Gain: 30 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi moves all day. He has started to keep me up at night a few times, but I dont mind. 
There is always something new that he is doing. Such entertainment!

Cravings: Nothing Really

What I am Loving:

I love to hear Matt talk about how excited he is for Levi to get here

Sleep:

Getting tough to sleep comfortably, not sleeping well. I can not sleep on my stomach or back and I wake up with my sides hurting.

SAHM 5 1/2 weeks!!

29 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 29 Weeks!

Size of baby: Butternut Squash

Approx 2 1/2 lbs although Levi is measuring at 2 lbs 13 oz as of last Thurs.

15 inches head to heel.

Total Weight Gain: 27 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi has been moving alot all day long and the kicks are getting stronger. I can see my whole stomach move when he kicks and moves.

Cravings: Nothing Really

What I am Loving:

I love to hear Matt talk about how excited he is for Levi to get here and he always tells me how great of a mother that I will be. Such a Sweetheart.

Sleep:

Getting tough to sleep comfortably, not sleeping well. I can not sleep on my stomach or back and I wake up with my sides hurting. UGHHH!

Symptoms:

Emotional and I have had a bad attitude lately, just irritable I guess, no excuse really.
My wedding rings seem to fit one day and the next day they don't.

Best moment of the week and weeks past:

Getting to see Levi on the 4D ultrasound, although he covered that sweet face up with his arms. It was neat to see him. We saw him first at 8 weeks, then 18 weeks, last week at 28 weeks, and hopefully I can meet him face to face at 38 weeks (Ha! I know I'm dreaming, he will probably be a July baby =))

But it was neat to see how much they change in 10 weeks time.

Baby Showers

SAHM 6 weeks!!

Dr. Appt Update and 4D Ultraound...Flop

Matt and I went to the Dr's on Thursday for my glucose screening and 4D ultrasound. The glucose test went fine, the fruit punch drink that I had to drink wasnt that bad. I will find out Tuesday if I passed or not.

We got to do a 4D ultrasound next, and Levi was being uncooperative, his arms were in front of his face the whole time. Rachel our ultrasound tech was awesome though, she took all kinds of measurements and assured us that everything was great. He weighs 2lbs 13 oz, and his heartbeat was 161bpm, he was also already head down, so I pray that he stays that way.

Rachel tweaked some of the ultrasound shots and made one of his arms "see through" so we could see his precious face better.

Here is the best pic that we could get. The two dark circles on his head are actually joints and bones in his arms and hands.

Can you make out anything??? You can see his eyes nose and lips, and some chunky cheeks =)

Amazing.

28 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 28 Weeks! 7 Months! Third and Final Trimester!!!

Size of baby: Chinese Cabbage (2 1/4lbs, 15" Head to Heel)

Total Weight Gain: 27 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi has been moving alot all day long and the kicks are getting stronger. I can see my whole stomach move when he kicks and moves.

Cravings: Food =)

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach

What I am Loving:

That the Nursery is 90% FINISHED! Just a few more accesories
I have never had more clearer skin than I do right now. Yay!

Sleep:

Getting tough to sleep comfortably, not sleeping well.

Symptoms:

I heard back from the cardiologist, luckily, nothing serious in wrong. PTL! I do have some irregular beats but its caused by the extra blood that my heart is pumping and stress on on the arteries. On another positice note, my back has stopped hurting so bad, Levi must have changed positions.

Knowing that I have 12 Weeks or sooner until I see and meet Levi

and 7 weeks until my new title will be SAHM!

4D Ultrasound 04/07/11

I thought 7 months qualified for the special parking privileges at Schnucks!

27 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 27 Weeks!

Size of baby: Head of Cauliflower (14 1/2 inches from head to heel, 2lbs)

Total Weight Gain: 25lbs
Levi had the growth spurt this week, not me =)

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi has been moving alot all day long and the kicks are getting stronger. I can see my whole stomach move when he kicks and moves.

Matt got to feel Levi kick strongly the other night. He was amazed.

Cravings: Waffles

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach

What I am Loving:

That the Nursery is 90% FINISHED!

Sleep:

Getting tough to sleep comfortably, I keep ending up on my back which in return causes very bad lower back pain.

Symptoms:
Very bad lower back pain, Matt has had to help me up off the couch a few times.

I haven't heard back from the cardiologist yet

Knowing that I have 3 months until I see and meet Levi

and 2 months until my new title will be SAHM!

4D Ultrasound 04/07/11

26 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 26 Weeks!

Size of baby: English Cucumber (14 inches from head to heel, and 1 2/3lbs)

Total Weight Gain: 21 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi has been moving alot all day long and the kicks are getting stronger. I can see my whole stomach move when he kicks and moves.

Cravings: Nothing New

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach

and having a normal sized bladder!

What I am Loving:

Sleep:

Getting tough to sleep comfortably, I keep ending up on my back which in return causes very bad lower back pain.

Symptoms: I have been getting out of breath a few times

and very bad lower back pain.

Last weekend, I started having some heart palpitations, so my obgyn wanted me to see a cardiologist. After an EKG and echocardiogram, they also wanted me to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours (FUN!).

So hopefully everything comes back ok, which the cardiologist didnt seemed alarmed and stated that this is normal in pregnant women who were in there late 2nd trimester and 3rd trimesters.

Getting Levi's bookcase painted, working on his pic wall, and his name for above the crib.

Movement: Levi has been moving alot all day long it seems. I can see my whole stomach move when he kicks and moves.

(I drank a whole container in less than 24 hours..Ha!)

Movement: Levi has been having some strong kicks lately,

Matt was able to feel Levi kick last week,

and he has started to kick my stomach hard enough to just sit and watch my stomach. Amazing.

What I am Loving: That Matt got to feel Levi kick

My stomach feels like it is getting rock hard and it is getting more uncomfortable to lean over. I know, I know that I have a LONG time to go though!

My SIL Christie sent these cute onsies over for Levi, thank you. I am getting so excited.

23 Weeks!

Size of baby: large mango, just over 1lb!

What I am Loving: That I got Levi's crib mattress in and got a crib sheet. Its all coming together.

I feel like I have finally "popped" as the women on this pregnancy forum that I read daily would say.
My stomach feels like it is getting rock hard and it is getting more uncomfortable to lean over. I know, I know that I have a LONG time to go though!

22 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 22 Weeks!

Size of baby: a papaya

Total Weight Gain: 16 lbs

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi has been moving around and has been kicking more and

pressing on my bladder when I walk!

Cravings: French Onion dip ( although I havent had any yet!)

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach

and not having to run to the bathroom 15+ times a day!

What I am Loving: My husband! He is my best friend and I love how excited he is about Levi!

Sleep: I am waking up alot to go to the bathroom.

and I have been having some VERY ODD DREAMS

21 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 21 Weeks!

Size of baby: The length of a carrot, 10 1/2 inches in length, and about 3/4lb!

Total Weight Gain:  Forgot to weigh myself

Gender: Precious Baby Boy: Levi Maddox

Movement: Levi has been moving around and has been kicking more!

Cravings: Not much of anything....just hungry

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach.

What I am Loving: My hair has tons of body,

feeling Levi kick where I can feel it occasionally,

and my face seems to be clearing up some!

Sleep: I am waking up alot to go to the bathroom.
and I have been having some VERY ODD DREAMS

Symptoms: Levi has been putting pressure on my bladder when I walk,

it seems as though I always have to go to the bathroom.

My SIL also gave us a bath tub and a kaboost!

20 Weeks!

How far along: 20 Weeks! We are 1/2 way there!

Size of baby: the length of a Banana

Movement: Levi has been moving around alot. I have felt a few definite kicks lately.

Sleep: so-so

Symptoms: Not Much this last week.

I did have an aweful leg cramp the other night,

 that is still hurting me 3 days later.

19 Weeks!

And....SUSHI, especially after the cruise, and not being able to have it

Sleep: Like a baby, Cruise ships are the best!
