Levi was born on Monday, June 27 at 1:43 am. He surprised us all with being 9lbs!
I cant even put into words the love that I feel for my son. Matt and I fell in love at the first glance at him. He is healthy and just stunning to look at and a joy to hold. He has the most beautiful complexion.
He is one chunky thing!
He loves his carseat and car rides!
This was taken after we left the cardiologist. His pediatrician noticed a heart murmur, so we took him to have it checked out.
He has a tube that separates the lower two heart chambers that isnt quite closed up, but as he gets bigger, it will. Simply put. The doctor says that its completely normal in newborns.
We want to thank all of our friends and family for all of your love and support. Levi is blessed to have you in his life.

I have never prayed so much in my entire life or talked to you more than in the last 6 days. You have shown me your amazing love towards Matt, Levi and me and I am forever grateful that you have chosen Matt and me to be his daddy and mommy. You have answered every prayer that I have ever whispered this whole pregnancy and the days after Levi was born.
I feel so upset that I have never trusted to talk to you more, Oh, the things that I have missed out on. But I am learning....as I know that each hour of every day will be a learning experience for Matt and I as we parent and nurture Levi. Please dear Jesus, always have your hand upon him and keep him safely in your arms.

I will post his birth story soon, I hope. Alot of details that I dont want to miss.
Right now, we are getting adjusted to life at home and TRYING to establish a routine, which I am learning that no amout of reading can prepare you for taking care of someone so precious and unique.
I cant beleive that we are a family of FOUR.
and, yes, I count my fur baby too!

He is just so sweet and I miss him s much. It's been 3 or 4 days since I have held him, that is not cool. I am proud of you for posting the picture that you didn't want me to take of you. It is such a sweet family picture....minus Azul. Maybe we can get one of those tonight :)
Congratulations! He is so handsome. Can't wait to meet him.
