Flea Market Art turns Fab!!

While Matt, his family and I were visiting his Nanny Louise in Star City, AR last month, his mom and I ran into the local flea/thrift market. It was over crowded with clothes but this piece of art caught my eye.

I loved all of the colors in the picture!
then you will see how awesome this picture would be in our entryway!
It was perfect for bringing all the colors together!

And I loved the $10 Price Tag!!

It just needed some TLC!!

Here is the Before:

A close up of the Frame

The After:

Here it is in its New Home:

All I did was spray paint the frame Rustoleum's Blossom White, and took some of our left over paint from the living room wall and painted around the picture.

It turned out so good!!

This was my first spray paint project, actually, and like EVERYONE else, I am totally hooked! I have numerous things that I am going to brighten up around my house with spray paint!!

Great picture with the yellow accent. I actually know the place you got it! My daughter worked in Star City and a friend of our family is a preacher there. Small world!

I love what you did with the picture. I wouldn't have thought to paint around the picture on the picture. Great thought.
