Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 39 Weeks! Full Term Baby!!!

Size of baby: 7 lbs 15 oz

According to ultrasound last Tues 6/14/11

Total Weight Gain: 40 lbs
I lost a lb since last week

Gender: Baby Boy: Levi Maddox Workman

Movement: Levi is still very active right now, he did slow down a little bit, but he is back up to speed!

Cravings: Juice especially Pomegranate Cranberry

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach, Bending over comfortably =)

What I am Loving:

Matt

He was so good to me the other night when we went to the hospital. I am excited to start this new adventure with him.

Sleep: The new mattresses seem to be helping alot.

Symptoms:
Backache, Hip Pain, and a few contractions

Just so thankful that the Lord has blessed Matt and I with baby Levi and our health, and I hope he continues to do so in the next few days and hopefully not weeks =)

What I am looking forward to:

June 28, 2011 (1 week away)

Dr. Appt today, hopefully I have progressed some since Sunday night...fingers crossed.

I think I may have dropped some since last week. I took this weeks picture in the same outfit so I could compare.

False Alarm

Well, I now know what contractions feel like on a minor scale.

Last night, about 8:30pm, I started to feel crampy but didnt think much about it, then I decided I should time them. They were 6-7 min apart. At this point, I didnt tell Matt, I wanted to wait it out awhile and see what happened. About 11:30, I finally woke Matt up and told him what was happening and that now they were roughly 5 min apart. We live about 40 min away, so I prayed about it and knew I should at least get checked out.

We arrived at the hospital at 12:30ish and was hooked up to monitors to check Levi's heartbeat and my contractions. The sweet nurse, Ashley =), confirmed that I was having contractions about every 2 min at this point, whew! I felt better that I wasnt imagining things. They continued to monitor me for about 1 hr to 1 1/2 and my contractions were anywhere from 2-7 min, very inconsistant. So, they called the on-call doctor and she monitored them from home (so cool) and I was told to go home, that it was pre-labor. I was fine with it, because it gave Matt and I the opportunity to see how everything will go, sort-of.

The doctor and nurse gave us good news about Levi, and said that he handled the contractions wonderfully. That was a blessing.

I was told to drink lots of water, which I have done good until that day. I had 3 glasses of caffeinated drinks yesterday and hardly any water. The nurse said this is common when its hot out and late in pregnancy, dehydration could cause contractions.

I am home today resting and I have a dr. appt tommorrow, so we will see.

I am still crampy with some contractions as of now, but still inconsistant.

Say a prayer for Matt, Levi and me, please. I thank you in advance!

I had my 38 week Dr. Appt yesterday and found out some interesting news:

Levi is going to be a big baby!

My doctor ordered an ultrsound because I was measuring big,

and right now he weighs 7lbs 15oz, with potential to gain another pound, holy cow, what happened to the approximate weight of 6 lbs two weeks ago????

I enjoyed getting the ultrasound just to check his fluid levels, heartbeat and everthing else. He looked healthy! Praise the Lord.

Now, can he just come while his is still under 8lbs? He is making me nervous =)

Movement: Levi is still moving around but not as much as usual, he is out of room.

What I am Loving: Being a SAHW until Levi comes, it still feels weird to call myself a mom just yet.
We got his Angel Care Monitors in yesterday!

Now, I am just waiting on his happy heinys cloth diapers.

His 36 week check up went well.

He is approx 6lbs, HB was 154, Head Down.

I had not made any progress on my own to bring on labor, but its still early, especially in 1st time moms.

My bags are packed and ready to go!!

Sleep: The new mattresses seem to be helping alot.

Symptoms:
Backache, Not much else right now.

Hating this 100 degree weather right now.

Movement: Levi is a wriggle worm, moving all the time, I can tell that his movements are packing a more vigorous punch. He must be out of room!

Cravings: Sweet Tea with Lemon

What I miss: Sleeping on my Back or Stomach, Bending over comfortably =)

What I am Loving: My last day of work is TODAY!!!!

We finished up some of the shopping that we still needed to be done for Levi.

Sleep: Can not find a comfortable position AT ALL.

Symptoms: Wedding Rings not fitting, Extreme Tiredness

I had my worst day ever during this pregnancy this past Sunday. My back hurt so terribly bad, and was just so fatigued. Matt and I were in need of some new mattresses, so we finally made the splurge on some. ( Not something I wanted to spend the money on...but hopefully it will make a difference)

They were delivered Sunday night and I woke up Monday feeling 50% better, the other 50 % has to be from pregnancy =)

Matt sleep wonderfully, so I am excited to sleep on my back or stomach in the next few weeks!!!

My mom hosted a baby shower for me last Saturday. Levi got alot of necessities and it was nice to have my friends and family all together.

33 Weeks!

Size of baby: Pineapple (weighs as much as 4 1/4lbs)

Movement: Levi moves all day. He has started to keep me up at night a few times, but I dont mind. Some definite body parts are moving across my belly now.

He has had hiccups a couple of times

What I am Loving:

That baby stuff in everywhere at our house....its a bit chaotic right now. Still not sure how to organize everything. It makes me smile!

Baby Luncheon hosted my coworkers of Matt's, too sweet

Having my first Mother's Day, Matt bought me a sweet card and a flip cam. YAY!

Had a Dr. Appt last Thursday and everything is going well, except that I have gained a little too much last month, oops!

What I am looking forward to:

32 Weeks! and an AWESOME Shower!

Size of baby: Jicama, about 3 3/4lbs

Total Weight Gain: 33 lbs

Movement: Levi moves all day. He has started to keep me up at night a few times, but I dont mind.  Some definite body parts are moving across my belly now.

What I am Loving:

Having my first baby shower hosted by my SIL and my MIL.

My friend Anna, also helped by making the tissue balls above all the tables.
It had an adorable owl theme, like Levi's nursery.

What I am looking forward to:

Baby Showers (Matt's Co-Workers are taking us to Lunch and having a mini shower Saturday. Super Sweet, huh?
SAHM 4 weeks exactly!!

Lindsey had some adorable t-shirts and bibs made with Levi's name monogrammed on it as well as an awesome diaper cake. I loved the flannel blankets that were part of it and all the goodies inside.
**Notice the blue dog topper** too cute!

My MIL prepared all the food along with some awesome green punch, it was yummy!

She also made these table center pieces that said "Guess Whoooo's Coming....Levi Maddox Workman"

Anna made all of the tissue balls above the tables, thanks Anna!

Clearer Skin....1st time in my life.....seriously!

Symptoms:

My wedding rings seem to fit one day and the next day they don't.

Stretch Marks have MADE their MARK on my stomach =) and they are welped up and itch soooooooo bad.

Getting more clothes and things from friends and family.

Movement: Levi moves all day. He has started to keep me up at night a few times, but I dont mind. 
There is always something new that he is doing. Such entertainment!

Cravings: Nothing Really

I love to hear Matt talk about how excited he is for Levi to get here

Sleep:

Getting tough to sleep comfortably, not sleeping well. I can not sleep on my stomach or back and I wake up with my sides hurting.

Symptoms:

My wedding rings seem to fit one day and the next day they don't.

Baby Showers

SAHM 5 1/2 weeks!!

Nursery Progress: LEVI in letters

We had originally planned to buy a monogram for over Levi's crib, but since that wall was adjacent to the wall with the mural on it, I figured it would be to much vinyl.

So, I bought these letters for 30% off at Hobby Lobby for $1.40 each + 5 sheets of scrapbook paper.

I had also originally planned to cover them with the scrapbook paper, but thought painting them would be much more simple. I did end up using the paper in this project and this one.

I wanted to attach the letters to a piece of 1x2 so it would be fixed on the wall without the chance of it falling on his head

I stained a piece of 1x2

And, hot glued the letters onto the 1x2

Here it is above Levi's crib

Just a few more touches to go and we will be finished!!!
